INTERNAL ASSIGNMENTS:
• Responsible for identifying the training needs of all the employees at the Branch level. This includes Individual, Project and Organizational Needs.
• Enable heads to prepare the career development plan for the associates and make the Annual Training Plan based on these inputs.
• Responsible for organizing the training courses to meet the training requirements and tracking them to closure.
• Development and revamping of the course material.
• Ensuring quality of the training imparted through statistical Process Control Methods and also the effectiveness of the training.
• The courses conducted are a combination of Technical and Management Development Programs and Soft Skills.
• Also involved in driving the Capability Maturity Model level 5 at 4 centres in Delhi .
• Also responsible for conducting courses on ‘Dr. D’Bono’s Creative Techniques like Six Hats Thinking and Lateral Thinking’.
• Responsible for coordinating with all the centres in the Northern region and the corporate offices at Mumbai and Tiruvanthapuram.
• Apart from adopting the soft approach for handling the issues of Change Management, I am involved in preparing a team of trainers identified from within the department; train the trainers on various applications and audits of the applications.

CLIENT ASSIGNMENTS:
• Involved in a Training Assignment, between 1996 and 2000, with the Income Tax Department, for training their employees on the applications developed by Tata Consultancy Services at multiple locations across India.
• Training SAIL employees on the Central Marketing Office Application all over India. This was one of the first major computerization initiatives in SAIL in the late 1980.
• As a part of this assignment I prepared a combined pool of faculty from both Tata Consultancy Services and SAIL to meet varied needs, designed the course material, conducted the pilot training, revamped the course material and prepared the training calendar, conducted the training sessions apart from carrying out the training effectiveness audits.
• Also worked on an assignment of conducting the training need analysis for NTPC for the first time in 1989. It included identifying the training needs, doing the gap analysis with the envisaged skills, developing a training strategy and generating training metrics to enhance performance.
• Besides these, I developed and facilitated for another Training Assignment at Haldwani for the Uttar Pradesh Forestry Department.
• As a part of this program, I was to identify the training needs, designing the course, prepare a comprehensive training strategy, train the trainers, conduct courses on Working in Teams, Communication, Motivation, Effective Presentation and Negotiation skills among others for the forestry officials.
• Conducted Training Programmes at Hindustan Paper Corporation at their Guvahati Plant.
